CRBCS, The Centre for Research on BioComplex Systems

The CRBCS is a Center for Scientific Excellence at the Free University Amsterdam.

It aims at excellent research into the issue of how functional properties that are essential for living systems arise in the chemical and physical interactions and complexation of molecules or higher order structures. Another word for it topic is Systems Biology.

The CRBCS is one of the synergies between the Faculty (School) of Sciences (FEW/FES) and the Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences (FALW/FELS) of the Free University Amsterdam (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, VUA)
