Dear website visitor,                                                                                   Friday, May 20, 2005

Attendance to the symposium is free and we kindly invite everyone interested in the subject and the themes of the symposium to participate. However, we would appreciate if you could register by filling out the form shown below before May 19. That way, we can keep an eye on the number of participants, prepare badges for all participants, and estimate the number of lunches needed on Thursday and Friday. Lunches will be free for those who have registered.

It is no longer possible to register for the symposium 'Towards a Philosophy of Systems Biology'. Some 110 persons have registered. People who still would like to attend the symposium should read the text below.

Thursday June 2, Kerkzaal (15th floor):

The lecture hall 'Kerkzaal'  has a (strict) maximum capacity of 120 persons due to safety regulations. So if you come to the symposium without having registered, we cannot guarantee that you will have a seat. Nevertheless, you may take a chance at your own risk, but registered persons have priority access. Also, lunches will not be provided to non-registered persons. You can go to the student restaurant (mensa) of the VU (ground floor) though and buy yourself a lunch.

Friday June 3, Auditorium (1st floor):

The lecture hall 'Auditorium' has a maximum capacity of 150 persons. So if you come to the symposium without having registered, you will probably be able to find a seat. However, lunches will not be provided to non-registered persons. You can go to the student restaurant (mensa) of the VU (ground floor) though and buy yourself a lunch.
